By current exchange (1L slot = 2G slots) that would mean a titan would have with potentially as many as 12(!!) G slotsc! Holy smokes now that's what I call a volley! So I'll probably just wait until the next major patch to get my supercarriers. I just hope that when they introduce hangar modules that they will also have missile variants as well. Ultimately I think that Paradox will eventually introduce more variety in the loadout of Titans. In addition I worry that the AI won't do a good job of balancing the design of the titans with these new modules. Personally I would like to see the prow always dedicated to one titanic slot, but see more types of titanic slot weapons. Also, I don't really like that he replaces the prow titan cannon module with a massive hangar module. That's why, despite loving carriers in general, I haven't downloaded it. So the mod design is 3.5 (2 + 1.5) large-slot equivalent over what would be an equitable exchange. but 3 strike and 2 point defense is 3.5 worth. 4 Strike, or 3 Strike + 4 Point defense, would be fairer. The core section in the mod carries 5 strike craft hangars and 4 point defense - equivalent to 6 large slots. This mod in this sense its totally fair in the bow section, giving 6 Hangar slots for 1 Titanic.īut its the other sections that are off. 1 Hangar slot by standard convention is worth 1 large, and 4 small or 4 point defense is worth one large as well. So we can conclude that a Titanic Weapon is worth 6 large slots in itself.
A Titan uses 16 capacity and has 1 titanic + 6 large slots. the fleet capacity, though.Ī regular battleship uses 8 capacity and has 6 large slots. It does have more Hangar slots that should be justified by.
